From its Midwest facility in Keokuk, Iowa, Allied Blending LP operates nine different process lines that produce dry and liquid products for the food and industrial markets. Precision and agility have placed us at the forefront of an industry where expertise in precise blending, product quality and high customer service are routinely demanded. The Midwest facility encompasses a 42,000 square foot operation situated on seven acres with 134,000 square feet of offsite warehousing. In 2010, the Iowa facility added a 4,000 square foot commercial grade bakery lab to support its growing breads and rolls product development requirements. In 2011, an additional facility was established nearby for precision blending of non food-grade powdered products, as well as expanded capability for reactive blending of liquid products. The processing lines can accommodate various dry batch sizes up to 12,000 lbs and liquid products up to 2,000 gallons. The modern production lines are equipped for powdered bag-in-bag packaging, fiber drums, poly-lined boxes, 25-50 lb valve bags, and super sacks to 3,000 lbs, and liquid filling up to 275 gallons. Plant expansions have bumped capacity over 50% during the past 4 years, giving AB the capability to meet its continued growth trends.

Allied Blending LP’s state-of-the-art Bell, California facility with its four process lines, quality control lab, bake test capabilities, Dairy-3A equipment, and approved USDA certification is the only west coast blend facility of its kind. In addition, the Southern California location ideally situates us at the gateway for exports to the Pacific Rim and Latin American markets. In May of 2005 Allied Blending LP acquired Ingredients Unlimited, Inc., which at the time had a fifteen plus year history of service to the tortilla industry. Since the acquisition, Allied Blending LP’s infusion of market leadership in technical services, product formulation, new product innovations and stringent quality standards have resulted in tremendous growth. This success enabled us to grow into a new and larger Southern California plant in 2007 via an expansion from 15,000 square feet to a 50,000 square foot facility with five process lines, including Dairy 3A capabilities, a commercial grade tortilla processing line and the latest innovations and designs for optimum efficiency and quality. Dedicated Food Scientists develop formulated applications utilizing the latest functional ingredients to assure that our customers receive value-added components that are targeted to their specific needs.
